Wow thank you to all the lovely ladies that came to the New Forest LOH gathering at our rally, Blazin’ Blitz. I was so overwhelmed to see so many ladies. We had to do it early on the Friday as I wanted to do a preview event with Southampton H-D. Wondering how many might turn up I bought 3 bags of dog tags, which we wrote ranks on, to give out for our WW2 theme. We arranged through Helen our Rally Manager for Mill Rythe to supply the bubbles for up to 50 ladies. Well what a spread they put on for us, they even turned the bubbles into 3 different types of cocktails and laid out 60 glasses, that should be plenty I thought. With SH-D and another trader Road Skin set up, they were going to give us ladies a bit of discount we were ready at 5pm. Doors opened with a queue forming and the 60 glasses were gone in a flash, and with more ladies coming in another 60 glasses were gone soon after. The hour went very quickly with lots of shopping and of catching up with old friends and chatting to new ones much laughter was heard then after the photo, it’s a shame didn’t get everyone in. We all went off to have our dinner then get ready for the evening entertainment. I can’t thank Mill Rythe enough, they really pushed the boat out for us, even Tom the sound guy made me a playlist out of the 5 CDs my lovely friend Shelly sent me, 100 hits from WW2.

Thank you to all that bought raffle tickets, a massive £2020 was raised and a further £282 at the Bike Show all for our chosen charity this year Blood Runners. Thank you to Grace and her raffle ladies.

Our Ladies of Harley dance troupe did us proud on the Saturday night and the 2 guys who made their spitfire models were just perfect. Well done Jane and Jean for organising.

I really hope you enjoyed our rally and look forward to seeing you all at Blazin’ 2018.
