Membership fees information:

To join and maintain your New Forest Branch membership, the following fees are payable:

All members (Full & Associate) must also be either Full or Associate International H.O.G. Members.

Associate members must also be sponsored by a Full New Forest Branch Member.

What is the New Forest Branch?

New Forest Branch is a local motorcycle group made up of Harley-Davidson owners.  This local H.O.G. Chapter is officially recognised by Harley-Davidson and H.O.G. internationally and is sponsored by the Southampton Harley-Davidson dealership.

How does it all work?

To enable a worldwide network of H.O.G. groups to operate as one 'family', H.O.G. International lay down some clear guidelines that Local groups must follow.  These guidelines are called the 'Annual Charter for H.O.G. Chapters'.  A local Chapter such as New Forest Branch have a formal committee set up to organise and promote events and benefits to members of the Chapter.  This committee is made up from Harley owners that volunteer their skills and experience to organise various aspects of the Chapter.

How do I become an International HOG member?

When a rider purchases a new Harley-Davidson motorcycle they are given their first years' membership to International H.O.G. free, after this they can renew their subscription annually. Alternatively, any Harley-Davidson motorcycle owner can apply to join the International H.O.G. by providing their motorcycle VIN number and the appropriate membership fee.  So, any owner of a Harley-Davidson motorcycle can be an International H.O.G. member.  Harley-Davidson owners or riders are also able to join as Associate Members, but must be sponsored by an existing H.O.G. How do I join the New Forest Branch?

Firstly, you need to be an International H.O.G. Member.  Then you can join the New Forest Branch by completing an enrolment form which is available from Southampton Harley-Davidson (contact details below) or, download a form using the link above.  Complete the form and send it to the membership secretary, you will then receive confirmation of the initial fee due.

What benefits will I receive as a member of the New Forest Branch?

As an international H.O.G. member you will already be entitled to a range of benefits from discounts on genuine Harley-Davidson parts, accessories to travel and insurance benefits. New Forest Branch will send you a membership card, a pin badge and sew-on patch to tell fellow riders that you are a member; Full members will also receive an annual Membership Handbook.  In addition you will be entitled to attend events such as organised rideouts, social gatherings, fun days and even motorcycle rallies.  The success of such events depends on the support of the Branch Members and the dedication and time commitment from the Branch Committee… it's a motorcycling family in the broadest sense.

The New Forest Branch operates on a self funding basis (your subscriptions and income from events will enable the Branch to grow and offer further events and benefits to members). Southampton Harley-Davidson are the sponsors of the Branch and have helped support the setting up of our local chapter by underwriting considerable initial costs to provide facilities from bank accounts to membership cards and merchandise stocks.  Southampton Harley-Davidson will continue to have close involvement with both the running of the Branch and its events.  The dealer is responsible for ensuring that the chapter operates in accordance with the 'Annual Charter for H.O.G. Chapters' and H.O.G. operating policies and can also suspend or revoke memberships.
