The Devils Punch Bowl – CANCELLED DUE TO ADVERSE WEATHER

SUNDAY RIDE CALLED OFF DUE TO ADVERSE WEATHER FORECAST. We have reluctantly called off our ride for today Sunday 3rd September to The Devils Punch Bowl as the weather forecast has become heavy rain from 10:00 am onwards. ?

 

We will be running up through Romsey to Winchester to join the A272. Following this famous bike road to Petersfield. We will then join the A3 north for a short while, leave it then re-join further along. We will be traveling through the Hindhead Tunnel and turning back anti clockwise to the Devils Punch Bowl. Once at the famous cafe we will stop for lunch and can enjoy the area with several lovely walks. Coming home we will head south first of all then travel between Midhurst and Langrish duplicating just a small part of the A272. The last part along the Meon Valley through Eastleigh to Ower. A round trip of 120 miles. Not suitable for learners or inexperienced riders.

Meet at Southampton Harley-Davidson: 10:00am, leaving at 10:30am
