Marlborough – CANCELLED DUE TO RAIN

Sunday 26th August 2018

A ride on some different roads in Hampshire and Wiltshire to the historical town of Marlborough.

In 1086, Marlborough was recorded in the Domesday Book as ‘Merleberge’.  In later years it was a place where coins were minted, Tudor kings hunted for deer and coaches heading west from London stopped to feed and water their horses.

We will also stop to feed and water our horses!  100 miles in total.  There will be a fuel stop for Sportsters on the return journey just after leaving Marlborough, with the ride ending at Ower Services.  Suitable for all riders.

Meet at Southampton Harley-Davidson: [post_published], leaving at 10:30am.

Ride led by: Geoff Anderson.
