Introduction

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into force on the 25th May 2018 and New Forest Chapter wants to highlight to our members the measures we have put in place to ensure compliance with GDPR where we hold or process personal data on your behalf.

GDPR Compliance

New Forest Chapter have undertaken a full review of all internal security and privacy policies to ensure that all personal data within, or passing through the organisation, will be handled in accordance with GDPR regulations.

We will implement the relevant tools and practices to ensure the safeguarding of any data handled by New Forest Chapter and all of its committee members and volunteers.

Committee members and volunteers will be made aware of GDPR restrictions, with the relevant training provided as necessary.

Members

New Forest Chapter is undertaking a review of all members agreements and third party contracts and arrangements to ensure that all of our partners continue to apply the same high standards of data protection.

Software Applications

New Forest Chapter seeks to ensure confidentiality, integrity and availability of the personal data we store or process. We maintain appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorised disclosure or access.
