Phoenix rehoming volunteers will be there on Saturday with a stand, come and say hi, perhaps bring a bag or a tin of dog food, worming or flea treatment with you to help them out. They would appreciate it very much Thank you
Phoenix Rehoming is a registered charity. We were founded in 2016 to help all dogs regardless of age, breed or provenance.
The charity is proud of its ethical approach to rescuing and rehoming, with Trustees and volunteers accredited with the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers, Dog Training College, Centre of Excellence and UK Sniffer Dogs.
The charity are members of the Pet Professional Guild, Pet Industry Advocacy International and the UK Dog Training & Behaviour Charter.
To date 1650 dogs and over 30 cats have been adopted and most have not had the best start in life.
We were awarded “UK Rescue & Rehoming Centre of the Year 2021” in the Animal Star Awards.
The charity is run entirely by volunteers. This means every penny goes directly to helping us help  animals in need.
We continue our efforts to rescue and rehome dogs. In recent months we have seen an unprecedented number of dogs being surrendered. That means we need help more than ever.
We are proud to be supported by so many wonderful companies including:
Jollyes Pet Supermarket in Waterlooville
Agria Pet Insurance
Paw Paddock
Bentley’s Dog Groomers
Vets4Pets Hayling Island
Richmond Hydrotherapy Centre in Hedge End
Sandy’s Dog Grooming in Waterlooville
We would all be very grateful for donations of dog food, particularly wet dog food. We are always desperate for flea and worming medication too.
New Forest Hog are Proud to support Rowans Hospice and the Charity day at Lakeside 23rd Sept.

Rowans Hospice provides palliative and end of life care to the highest quality for those living with a life-limiting illness in the Southeast of Hampshire. Our highly trained hospice carers help to improve quality of life for the patient by easing physical symptoms as well as offering psychological, spiritual and social support to both patients and their loved ones.

Our dedicated hospice care is available round the clock either in house or at home, as well as offering services for day visitors in our Living Well Centre. Wellbeing events and classes are available to carers, patients and the bereaved with no referral required.

Whilst our care is provided free of charge, we are in fact a hospice charity and 90% of our income is generated by legacies, donations, fundraising and our retail shops. Through your generous donations and fundraising we continue to provide much needed support to the community and make a difference to so many lives and for this we thank you.

26% OF MAMMAL SPECIES RISK DISAPPEARING ALTOGETHER

67 BIRD SPECIES ARE ON THE RED LIST OF CONSERVATION CONCERN

HEDGEHOG NUMBERS HAVE PLUMMETED SINCE THE 1970s

Our wildlife Hospital admits injured, sick, or orphaned patients directly from the public, from the RSPCA, or from local vets who have pre-assessed patients as needing wildlife care, recuperation and rehabilitation facilities.

Our animal care staff and volunteers undertake this important work with care, compassion and commitment to patient welfare with the aim of responsibly releasing patients back to the wild once they are fit and healthy. In addition we answer thousands of phone calls annually from the public to give advice on wildlife welfare.

We receive no government funding and depend entirely on the generosity of our supporters, donors, fund-raising activities, partnership with businesses, and grant applications.
